Becca is one of my favorite makeup brands we carry but not only because it's Australian and I happen to have spent seven years there, but also because I love what they stand for. Simple, effortless makeup. I hate feeling like I'm suffocating under layers of foundation, bronzer, and blush, so to me consistency is everything.
Becca is one of my favorite makeup brands we carry, but not only because it's Australian and I happen to have spent seven years there, but also because I love what they stand for. Simple, effortless makeup. I hate feeling like I'm suffocating under layers of foundation, bronzer, and blush, so to me consistency is everything. Becca's formulations are not heavy or greasy and they truly believe in natural beauty. You should work with what you have to create the most beautiful you...without making you look like a completely different person.
So, of course I'm super stoked whenever we get new collections in, such as the latest for Fall/Winter, the Lost Weekend Collection. The proof is in the pudding, or in Becca's case, their marketing materials. The models used as well as the looks displayed on them are gorgeous and effortless, with shades of light browns and grays. Although I haven't tried every item in the Lost Weekend Collection, I know that it will bring out my inner fall goddess in only a few steps!
Here's a sneak peak for y'all.
Lost Weekend Palette
Escape from the ordinary with the Lost Weekend Palette. This limited edition 3-hole eye colour palette washes eyes in earthy tones of heather, chocolate and mauve rose, in a combination of velvet matte and soft shimmer formulas. The Lost Wekend Palette contains:
-Eye Colour Powder Demi Matt - Moire (heather)
-Eye Colour Powder Demi Matt - Chino (chocolate)
-Eye Colour Powder Shimmer - Moleskin (mauve)
-Mini Eyeshadow Brush (synthetic)
Two new Mineral Blush options:
- Sweet Pea which is like a rosey plum.
- Wild Honey which is described as a peachy nude. The perfect nude blush or would also probably work well as a contour product.
Beach Tint in Fig
Described as a tea rose pink. Very natural looking and probably a shade deeper than your natural lip color. Ideal for people wanting a hint of color or more of a nude lip. BECCA Beach Tint is a beautifully blendable crème stain for cheeks and lips that suits all skin types. Kiss-proof and water-resistant, it dries to a perfect, streak-free, non-greasy and non-drying finish.
Butter Balm SPF 20
Seriously, now one of my all time favorite lip balms. Goes on completely sheer but gives a hint of shine and shimmer to your lips. I have fallen in love with the coconutty scent and the fact that I feel it on my lips for hours is a true testament to it's power! This comforting luxury lip balm protects lips against burning and aging with SPF 20. With a nourishing cocktail of ingredients such as Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Honey and Vitamin E, Butter Balm is the ultimate lip conditioner. Delicately infused with Tahitian Vanilla!
Ever heard of a cult product? No, it's not what you think. I'm not talking about the go-to products that people actually living in a cult would use, but cult in the sense that a select portion of people know about them and swear by them as "the-best," and "the-only," product they will use. These cult products travel by word of mouth, from friend to a friend and the popularity carries on from there. These products might not even be mass produced or marketed but somewhere, if you're lucky enough, you may be able to get that whisper in the ear for the best moisturizer around...
Thank me later. I'm going to provide you that little whisper in the ear because we actually carry a lot of these "cult" beauty products at b-glowing!
They say that eyes are the window to the soul. If that's the case the more we can do to draw attention to that gorgeous feature the better. Certain eye looks and trends work better on different shaped eyes but the shades we choose also works in harmony to really make eyes pop. But…how do you know what colors will work best with green, blue, or brown? This is a science ladies, and thanks to Jemma Kidd your decision has been made so much easier.
