Bookmark and Share Posted on 02/28/2012

Tracy Anderson is known for perfecting the bodies of Hollywood one leg lift at a time and the proof of her genious is seen on the amazing bodies of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez. Tracy is actually starting a new phase of her life, becoming a mom, but she's still sticking to her program and keeping a healthy and energetic body thoughout her pregnancy. Tracy was just featured in March's Allure magazine where she mentions her diet, preferred workout attire and her healthy outlook on remaining physically fit. You may also recognize Tracy as she's the body featured in brand Prtty Peaushun's marketing materials and I'm sure you can see by the photo below why it was so easy for it's creator Bethany to choose her. Prtty Peaushun is a skin tightening body lotion that camoflages cellulite, covers stretch marks, enhances any muscular curviture and leaves a beautiful natural tan in it's wake. Best of all it contains light reflecting particles that create a luminous and ethereal glow behind.

Hollywood Tastemakers Favorite Things » -

Hollywood hairstylist Adir Abergel amongst other beauty tastemakers gathered their "favorite things" they swear by in March's Allure magazine. Adir likes to keep his styling kit neat and meticulously organized so he only wants the items that will get the job done fast and efficiently. A couple of his must-have items include a Mason Pearson brush to "leave a beatiful finish for straight hair" and Frederic Fekkai's Sheer Hold Hairspray because it "doesn't matte the hair and leaves a nice finish that you can still run your fingers through." Makeup artist Kate Lee mentioned her current essentials as well such as Kevyn Aucoin's Shading and Contouring Powder. Although she considers it a professional tool it really helps to create depth and dimension around the eye socket, cheekbones and jawline. There you have it, picks from the pros!

«Top Beauty Trends for 2012 -

Jemma Kidd Makeup SchoolJudging from the spring and summer fashion shows, 2012 will be a year of fascinating duality. For instance, while some designers selected bright, pop-art lips, others chose to apply just lip conditioner for a natural look. Certain trends (cat eyes, 1950s glamour) will carry over from 2011, while others (full eyebrows, 3D cosmetics) are newly popular. Here are the top beauty trends for 2012, along with product recommendations that can help you stay ahead of the curve:

1. Retro Cat Eyes

This is one trend that’s here to stay. Feline eyes graced the Dolce & Gabbana, Armani and Louis Vuitton shows. It takes a steady hand and plenty of practice to draw sharp cat eyes on one’s eyelids – not to mention an exceptional product that won’t smudge and leave you looking more like an alley cat. ELLIS FASS eyeliner is excellent for this application; it transforms from a liquid to a matte powder. You get the best of both worlds: liquid for easy application, and powder for staying power.

If you’re especially daring, choose a bright hue for your cat eyes. The Derek Lam show showed how this retro eye style can be edgy if you choose an eye-popping shade of eyeliner. Jemma Kidd Makeup School’s Crushed Jewel Gel liner is a great product. It’s available in diamond, onyx and azure tones, each of which contains glitter, so there’s really no way to ignore a bright stripe of this liner.
