Deborah Lippmann Rocks The Catwalk at New York Fashion Week!

Bookmark and Share Posted on 09/26/2011

Butter LONDON wasn't the only nail lacquer range responsible for bringing model's nails to life at this years New York Fashion Week, we have to give props to Deborah Lippmann as well. So many designers, so little time, I don't know how these brands do it jumping from one show to the next all whilst making sure these models don't smudge their gorgeous polished fingers.

Anyways, the Deborah Lippmann range really brought it up a level with color options of reds, greiges, and deep midnight blues with sparkle accompaniment at shows such as Bill Blass, Badgley Mischka, and Donna Karen to name drop a few. While were on it, I might as well show you all the lacquers used so you can rock your own runway at home, or at least your nails!

Designer Narcisco Rodriguez chose Waking Up in Vegas for his gorgeous models.

Rodarte chose Lady Sings The Blues, a blue glitterbomb! Perfect for a night out on the town.

At the ADAM show, layering was in full affect by using one coat of Diamonds and Pearls and two of Naked.

Bagdley Mischka chose Glamourous Life. The perfect shade to show off those elegant gowns.

Donna Karan used Just Walk Away Renee to spice up her show.

bliss's Triple Oxygen +C Engergizing Cream Featured in "In Style" Magazine » -

I heard an old wives tale that every year your hair type changes. For instance, for most of my adolescent life I had very thick and dead straight hair however randomly one morning as I was towel drying my mane, it had all of a sudden gone wavy. I thought it was because I had curled my hair every morning over the years so eventually it just stayed. But I think there's also some sliver of truth to the fact that every 12 years or so your hair gradually changes, whether that's texture, slight difference in hue, etc.

Aging of course is a different story and every 10 years or so we do wake up and look in the mirror and say, "My god, I look older!" It's a battle we can't really win, but we can certainly have a stand-off, picture me old western style standing in a deserted street with my serums and creams in a holster where a gun should have been. Haha!

«In Style Beauty Features BECCA Nail Colours -

If you've seen In Style's magazines latest October issue, you may have seen a certain Australian cosmetics range getting a little love...Becca! They were featured in the beauty sections "Deals & Steals" for the month and I agree these are to cute to pass up.  In particular, their fabulous new nail lacquers for Autumn/Winter. Ideal for going with the latest fall fashion trends and colors, choose from Toasted Marshmallow (soft brown pink), Saddle Up (Caramel Nude), and Billy Tea, my personal favorite, in a dark mushroom taupe.

These high-performance enamels coat nails with an immediate glossy shine that has superior lasting-power. The smooth, self-leveling colour brushes evenly onto nails, delivering intense, fast-drying pigment. All Becca nail lacquers retail for $15. While you're at it, also take a look at the new eye and cheek shades for Fall. Spruce up your look and receive FREE ground shipping if you spend $75 or more!
