Deborah Lippmann's most popular nail lacquers!

Bookmark and Share Posted on 07/15/2011

Nail polish is the new lipstick. I used to constantly read the beauty sections and checkout all the new makeup trends, which usually centered around the best lipsticks or glosses for the season, whether it be deep red, plum, or coral. But now when I check out the beauty sections there seems to be a much bigger emphasis on the latest nail trends.

My nail polish collection has all of a sudden outnumbered my lipsticks which has never happened before. If you think about it, nail polish is just as much of an accessory as a great pair of sunglasses or fabulous pumps. Instead of wearing a neutral polish for two weeks that will go with many outfits, I find myself changing my polish multiple times a week depending on what I'm wearing.

In saying that, never before has it been as safe to wear nail polish. More and more brands are coming out such as Deborah Lippmann that have 3-Free Formulations, meaning that they are free of unsafe chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Toulene, and DBP. Without sacrificing quality or color, these nail brands are paving the way in the nail lacquer realm.

Happy Birthday

In saying that, never before has it been as safe to wear nail polish. More and more brands are coming out such as Deborah Lippmann and Butter London that have 3-Free Formulations, meaning that they are free of unsafe chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Toulene, and DBP. Without sacrificing quality or color, these nail brands are paving the way in the nail lacquer realm.

A very popular brand that gets a lot of press as well as having many nail lacquers that have become staff favorites is Deborah Lippmann. She started out as in demand manicurist to Phoenix socialites and then moved to New York City where a manicure she gave to an Allure editor caused her career to take off to new heights.

With an assortment of 45 gorgeous shades in the collection as well as treatments for the hands and feet, Deborah Lippmann continually strives to pave the way in the nail industry.

With that little tease introduction, here is a glimpse at some Deborah Lippmann's most popular nail lacquers:

Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday. This literally is a party in a bottle. Think confetti streamers and a multi-colored glitter overload and you have brought the essence of a party right to your nail beds. They've never had this good of a time!

Happy Birthday

Deborah Lippmann Lara's Theme. Occasionally, Deborah Lippmann works with celebrities to create a nail polish and this one was born through the mind of model Lara Stone. Described as a double dutch orange, this lacquer is one of my personal favorites and a must-have for summer.

Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers. There really is no place like home with this Dorothy-esque ruby-red slipper inspired lacquer. Tap your heels together, apply this polish, and you're on your way to Oz, or the club. Simply divine.

Deborah Lippmann Today Was A Fairytale. Bring the cosmos to your nails with this silvery blue starlight glitter nail polish.

Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road. Banana yellow is so on trend right now but if you want to rock a more lighter version of it then Yellow Brick Road is perfect for you. It's sheer and mellow-yellow!

TOCCA Perfume » -

I first fell in love with the captivating and sensual scents of TOCCA when I was given a candle as a gift many years ago. Now these exquisite scents can be yours in the form of eau de parfum, solid parfum and lip glosses.

There’s something beautifully old-world about these fragrances that can inspire a lost memory of a forbidden romance, a walk down the Seine, or a flower you received by a loved one. The bottle as well speaks of romance and a bygone era where luxury and sensuality could be found around every corner.

Here is a tease of these boudoir-esque captivating scents.

«Tanda ZAP -

For many years, LED Light Therapy has been an expensive treatment that was exclusively offered in beauty spas. Thanks to technology and Tanda ZAP, the benefits of LED can now be had in your own home and for a fraction of the price!

Tanda Light Therapy works from the inside out to reduce the signs of aging and combat acne. The benefits are amazing and the practicality of having your own at-home device to defeat a pimple before it’s reared it’s ugly head is an idea that seems to good to be true. But it’s not, and the best part is the Tanda ZAP is only $49!

To keep it simple, Tanda’s blue light destroys acne-causing bacteria by using a powerful combination of gentle vibration and warming of the skin, which allows the pores to open so bacteria have nowhere to hide. It’s clinically proven to clear or fade acne blemishes within 24 hours and best of all there is no irritation.

Whether you suffer from serious acne or just want to destroy a monstrous pimple that decides to pop up in the middle of your face before an important event (let’s face it ladies we’ve ALL been there),  then the Tanda ZAP should be in your arsenal. It’s like having a loaded gun for fighting the never ending war against blemishes!
