Deborah Lippmann's most popular nail lacquers!

Bookmark and Share Posted on 07/15/2011

Nail polish is the new lipstick. I used to constantly read the beauty sections and checkout all the new makeup trends, which usually centered around the best lipsticks or glosses for the season, whether it be deep red, plum, or coral. But now when I check out the beauty sections there seems to be a much bigger emphasis on the latest nail trends.

My nail polish collection has all of a sudden outnumbered my lipsticks which has never happened before. If you think about it, nail polish is just as much of an accessory as a great pair of sunglasses or fabulous pumps. Instead of wearing a neutral polish for two weeks that will go with many outfits, I find myself changing my polish multiple times a week depending on what I'm wearing.

In saying that, never before has it been as safe to wear nail polish. More and more brands are coming out such as Deborah Lippmann that have 3-Free Formulations, meaning that they are free of unsafe chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Toulene, and DBP. Without sacrificing quality or color, these nail brands are paving the way in the nail lacquer realm.

Happy Birthday

In saying that, never before has it been as safe to wear nail polish. A very popular brand that gets a lot of press as well as having many nail lacquers that have become staff favorites is Deborah Lippmann. She started out as in demand manicurist to Phoenix socialites and then moved to New York City where a manicure she gave to an Allure editor caused her career to take off to new heights.

With an assortment of 45 gorgeous shades in the collection as well as treatments for the hands and feet, Deborah Lippmann continually strives to pave the way in the nail industry.

With that little tease introduction, here is a glimpse at some Deborah Lippmann's most popular nail lacquers:

Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday. This literally is a party in a bottle. Think confetti streamers and a multi-colored glitter overload and you have brought the essence of a party right to your nail beds. They've never had this good of a time!

Happy Birthday

Deborah Lippmann Lara's Theme. Occasionally, Deborah Lippmann works with celebrities to create a nail polish and this one was born through the mind of model Lara Stone. Described as a double dutch orange, this lacquer is one of my personal favorites and a must-have for summer.

Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers. There really is no place like home with this Dorothy-esque ruby-red slipper inspired lacquer. Tap your heels together, apply this polish, and you're on your way to Oz, or the club. Simply divine.

Deborah Lippmann Today Was A Fairytale. Bring the cosmos to your nails with this silvery blue starlight glitter nail polish.

Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road. Banana yellow is so on trend right now but if you want to rock a more lighter version of it then Yellow Brick Road is perfect for you. It's sheer and mellow-yellow!

I first fell in love with the captivating and sensual scents of TOCCA when I was given a candle as a gift many years ago. Now these exquisite scents can be yours in the form of eau de parfum, solid parfum and lip glosses.

There’s something beautifully old-world about these fragrances that can inspire a lost memory of a forbidden romance, a walk down the Seine, or a flower you received by a loved one. The bottle as well speaks of romance and a bygone era where luxury and sensuality could be found around every corner.

Here is a tease of these boudoir-esque captivating scents.

«Paul and Joe Beaute is Hot Off The Press! -

Another of our fabulous brands that was featured in Marie Claire magazine was Paul and Joe Beaute! Not only do they rock the catwalk every season with their fashion line, but they make us go beauty crazy for their in demand cosmetics line. I love a brand who's packaging is breathtaking and who really cater for the savvy and style conscious women of the world. That, in a nutshell, is Paul and Joe Beaute!

Paul and Joe's Lip Gloss B in Sailor's Delight is a gorgeous orange, coral shade that can really brighten up a darker skin. They say blondes have more fun, but they also have the most neutral palette to work with which means they get to take more risks with hair and makeup shades. Paul and Joe Lip Gloss B retails for $22.
