What is it about a gray strand of hair that causes total freak out and an emergency trip to the hair dressers? I remember noticing my first gray hair in my early twenties and thinking I had failed at fighting the aging process. Instead of just embracing it as inevitable part of life and going with the flow I was even more adamant about making sure those suckers were going to be hidden FOREVER.
As I've gotten older, ok I'm 32, I've come to appreciate silvery, grey hair as beautiful. It's really is striking, especially now that we have so many icons who are saying no to bleach and heck yes to being a silver fox such as Adele Chatfield-Taylor, Christine Lagarde and our favorite, Linda Rodin! In the March edition of Town & Country magazine the Rodin Olio Lusso creator says she always embraced her gray hair and never thought of coloring it, even when people said, "If only you died your hair you'd have thousands of men knocking down your door," and "I've always loved my hair and wouldn't change it for anything."
