Ok I know Valentine's is kind of a cheesy holiday to celebrate but I love getting presents so I always have the, "But it's Valentine's" line on the backburner for my hubby. This chocolates and flowers holiday will be here in just a few weeks so I thought I'd give some great ideas for my fellow beauty junkie sisters who are a little bit underwhelmed by the classic gifts. Here are some must have beauty items that will make a perfect Valentine's....
The latest addition to the Clarisonic family comes in pink or white and has been updated from the classic Mia by having two different speeds as well as a 60 second T-Timer to ensure you're cleasing for the required 60 seconds. This is a great one to give the male loved one in your life as well. Watch your skin change over the course of a few weeks due to it's powerful sonic cleansing that gently exfoliates dead skin cells and reduces the appearance of fine lines.
Paul & Joe's Kitty Blusher Stick
I'm not even a cat lover but I can't help but get a little excited over Paul & Joe's Spring 2012 Meow Collection. The Kitty Blusher stick comes in three different shades and comes in lipstick style packaging and application. Turn the capsule and watch as a cat in the hat pops up to say hello! My personal fave is Minou because it's a gorgeous soft pink that I can wear everyday with any look.

The leaves are slowly changing and as they fall, it's a great time to explore new fashion, beauty, and especially fragrances.
In this week's 'Top Picks', our b-glowing.com staff is raving about some of their favorite scents for the new season.
Juliette Has a Gun Miss Charming: Elegant and sensual Moroccan Rose combines with wild fruit and musk to create this bold and deep fragrance that reminds us of a shot of whisky and a velvet blazer all at once. “Miss Charming is a great name for this perfume, because that is exactly what it is. A beautiful rose fragrance with depth and femininity. Even if you aren’t a traditional fan of rose, it will charm your socks off!”
Sarah Horowitz Perfect Coconut Milk: This eau de parfum is easy to wear, and guaranteed to please the nose of everyone around you. Light enough for any occasion, the fusion of coconut, almond, and a hint of orange blossom is absolutely lovely and an all-around staff favorite. "This is a year-round scent, but it's expecially great for fall because the vanilla and coconut are so warm together. It just reminds you of curling up with a good book and a soft blanket."
Tokyo Milk Dead Sexy No. 6: Picking just one scent from this line was difficult, but we decided on this white orchid, vanilla, and exotic woods-infused offering. Don't let the scull and crossbones scare you, while this scent has a deep rich tone, it's still light enough for almost anyone to wear daily. “There is absolutely something sexy about this perfume, but it also very wearable and professional. The woodsy and ebony scents give an air of maturity while the vanilla warms it up to leave you feeling super confident.”
Aromachology Sophisticated and Sensual: Who says pink isn't for fall? This fresh and playful floral scent is a nice option for anyone looking to take a little summer with them this season. Grapefruit and white lily play nice together, while sandalwood adds the warmth we look for in autumn fragrances. “This is a scent for every day. It is light, pleasant and even a little playful. The white flower and citrus combination can be worn by anyone.”

The holidays are a marathon, not a sprint. You’re going here, there, everywhere, and keeping plenty busy while at your destinations. You’re catching up with family and saying hello to old your friends. You’re cooking feasts, pulling together fabulous outfits, and creating beautiful looks. But these all have on thing in common: work!
The most wonderful time of year is the most exhausting, too. So when you’re in need of an hour of downtime, create a relaxing atmosphere with an at-home spa (or a wherever-you-happen-to-be spa). We’ve selected five items that will soothe and rejuvenate. Plus, all five would make an amazing, luxurious gift set.
Tokyo Milk Parfumarie Curiosite– Eiffel Tower No. 15 Bon Bon Bubbling Bath: You can’t fully relax without the perfect bubble bath; and this choice is sure to satisfy with a beautiful scent and plenty of bubbles. Because the rule is that you can’t leave the tub until the last bubble pops, right?
Bliss – Microwaveable Poetic Waxing Kit: Easy to use and gentle enough for sensitive skin. The stripless, low-heat, hard-wax hair removal system "shrink-wraps" hair without adhering to skin. Use on face or body for results without the long-lasting, tell-tale signs.
And for Ambiance…

We have an expansive collection that spans everything from sultry to sweet to musk. It’s about finding your signature and letting your scent speak for itself. We’ve gathered our staff favorites, and these top picks are sure to kick off the New Year in seriously memorable ways.
Nina Lee, Shipping Manager
“This is a classy scent, and stays on all day after just 2 or 3 sprays!”
“A unique scent that I was drawn to because it’s so warm and elegant. I have never smelled anything similar.”
Erika Vedaa, Creative Director
“Seductive and sophisticated, I love the warmth and complexity of this scent.”
Katelyn Stefani, Customer Service Director
“It really has a handle on my two favorite things in a scent: it’s very warm, but also manages to smell crisp and clean. The coconut and almond work well together.”
