b-glowing has proudly been retailing John Masters Organic beauty products for over 7 years now. We’re obsessed with this all-natural beauty brand. John has a celeb-studded salon in NYC that includes clients such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Anne Heche and other regulars. He started mixing his organic concoctions in the basement of his house and hand-filled each bottle. The John Masters brand has grown a lot since then and is available internationally.
My personal favorites include the John Masters Lavender and Rosemary Shampoo for Normal Hair. It’s a gentle, beautifully natural fragranced shampoo. It gives my colored hair weightless volume and sheen. I then condition with the John Masters Organics Lavender and Avocado Intensive Conditioner. I leave this on my hair for about 3 to 5 minutes while I’m washing my face, shaving, etc. This deep conditioner deeply hydrates my fine hair without weighing it down. That is super important to me as I find a lot of deeply hydrating conditioners weigh my hair down.
This time of year I love wavy, full hair. Soft, sexy and playful. The John Masters Organics Sea Mist is perfect for this! I spray a liberal amount on my wet hair and blow dry on a low setting (I also sometimes just let it air dry). I get the most rockin’ soft, shiny, full waves. It creates a soft, casual, sexy look!
Recently we added the new John Masters Bare bath and body collection! We were so excited to see this launched. It is a bath and body line that contains zero fragrance. A lot of our customers have been asking for this and we are so proud to carry a non-fragranced natural brand by one of our top sellers in the organic category. If you are always searching for high quality fragrance free body lotions and bath products, this is the line for you!

I hate packing for vacations. I stress over all the different scenarios I might wish I had brought this and that, to the point that I overpack with butloads of clothes I never end up wearing. The same goes with beauty products and especially makeup. Am I really going to want to to a smokey eye to a beachside, picnic table resteraunt in the Carribean? No. Vacations are really about feeling beautiful and free and not wanting to spend all that extra time fluffing and primping in the morning when I could be relaxing. In saying that, I still want to look and feel beautiful, however there are products we can use to minimize time but also ensure our skin, hair and makeup are well looked after and not being neglected. Vacations are no reason to totally let yourselves go ladies...
Here is a list of our must have beauty products to take with you on vacation:
Adara Coconut Oil-Purely organic and uber-nourishing, this Coconut Oil is a saviour for healing sunburnt skin as well as being an overall skin conditioner. Use
it in your hair as a conditioning treatment as well!
Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. For fashionistas, this means cleaning out your wardrobe to bring out lighter fabrics and introducing pops of color to mimic the changing of the leaves. For beauty junkies this means alternating different skincare options as well as changing up our hair routine. In Style magazine has made this easy on us in their Spring Special showcasing the best hair product options for the season.
Now more than ever consumers are concerned about what they put into their body, ingredients and the background of a brand. What's so wonderful about Rahua is that not only is the main ingredient harvested by tribeswomen in the Amazon but the ingredients are 100% natural! If your fresh new hair needs some added volume and hold then go green with Rahua's Voluminous Spray! Singer Corrine Bailey Rae also includes Rahua Conditioner as one of her key products to calm that gorgeous and curly head of hair. For added moisture, she loves to coat her hair in this, pop a shower cap on and relax for an hour before rinsing off.
For those who need some extra assistance creating a style then go with John Masters Organics Sweet Orange & Silk Protein Styling Gel adds body to the hair without being sticky. If ingredients are a concern for you then you can't go wrong with either of these brands!
