Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes

Posted on 11/22/2011

Your and my search for the perfect eyeshadow has ended thanks to one of our latest brands, Ellis Faas. This product range's shades are influenced from the colors found within the human palette. Which translates to: all of the shades throughout the entire range are universally flattering on any ethnicity or skin type.

One of their standout products that has become a staff favorite is Creamy Eyes. Erika & Kelsey have both fallen for E104 which has a dark brown/grey hue to it. All of the Creamy Eyes go on liquid but dry to a powder, matte finish. You can slowly build your color by continually sweeping the brush over your eyelid. Best of all, no eyelid creasing! You can layer and layer and still not worry about it sitting within your eye's creases. The color is long lasting as well as stays true all day long. This is a great product option for people wanting to easily shape and countour the eye area because of the fabulous brush application. You can literally draw on your eyes and blend out with your fingerips to create more of a smokey look.

If you don't want to take our staff's word for it, then will you trust Gwyneth Paltrow's makeup artist? Emma Lovell, used Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes in E107 in her GOOP makeup tutorial, which has a mushroom/taupe hue to it. Great for everyday wear and looks even better teamed up with an Ellis Faas Eyeliner!

Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes E107

Posted on 12/27/2011

If you struggle with the effects of eyelid creasing even after using primers, potions and concealers then this might be your lucky day. I'd come to deal with the fact that no matter if I used cream based or powder eyeshadows, in t-minus two hours I was going to have the tell-tale signs of that product embedded into my eyelids. It wasn't until a month ago that a fab-fab-fabulous new cosmetics range joined the b-glowing family that I realized there was hope.
And that product line my friends is Ellis Faas.

The entire product range is to die for but one of the stand outs for me was their eye shadow products. It must be all in the formulation, in particular Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes. It's has a miracle consistency and transforms from a wet to matte powder upon application. The brush shape and thickness makes it easy to apply and direct exactly where you want it to go. The only other step is blending the color out if you desire for more of a smoky look. Truthfully, I can wear this product for 8 hours and when I get home and look in the mirror it looks exactly like I just put it on! It says put and the results look fresh even through heat, rain and other environmental elements known to be makeup's worst enemy.

One of my personal favorites is the Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes E107 because of it's wearble mushroom/taupe shade which keeps it's cool, wearable factor from summer to winter. This shade was also recently featured in Gwyneth Patlrow's Goop E-newsletter where her makeup artist fell in love with it during a day to evening makeover. Another favorite around the office is Creamy Eyes E104 as we find it the perfect sexy, smoky eye color.

Get The Hair Looks As Seen In Goop!

Posted on 05/31/2012

b-glowing was 'goop'ed again. For those who don't know what that four letter word signifies, it's Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle e-newsletter GOOP! This stylish lady is known for her amazing taste and overall girl next door, heart warming personality. I love the fact that she whole heartedly admits she's no expert in doing her own hair and makeup and looks to her entrusted group of hair and makeup artists to get her beautified for red carpet events. Not that she really needs any help in that department.

We all could use a little professional insight when it comes to doing our hair. The best blow dry I've ever gotten has been when I leave frizz free and full of bounce after a visit to the hair salon, however recreating it a few weeks later isn't without it's struggles, snags, and sweat. Achieving a polished hairstyle normally comes from using the right mix of tools and products. We were lucky to be featured in the Goop newsletter a few weeks ago with Gwyneth's London based hairdresser George Northwood. He demonstrates step by step how to create three of our favorite hairstyles: the blow dry, luscious curls, and beach wave using products from b-glowing.com!

Check out George's great picks here and while you're shopping away please feel free to take 15% off your order by using coupon code: goophair at checkout. Valid until June 23, 2012. *Discount not applicable on Rodin olio lusso brand.
