Pump up the volume. Go big or go home. The big tease. Bigger is better. When the majority of us attempt to do 'big' hair it can end badly with knotted hair slightly resembling a rat's nest or being caught in a hurricane. It doesn't usually resemble this gorgeous head of hair we have below. Thanks to celebrity hair stylist Serge Normant (who created this voluminous style) the steps have been easily broken down and only a few styling products are needed.
Spray Meta Lush Volumizer from root to tips on wet hair.
Blow dry with a middle sized round brush, giving as much lift to the roots as possible.
Use a one inch barrel curling iron and begin curling hair section by section.
Pin each curl to the base of the head.
Once all done, use Meta Luxe Hair Spray (with a focus on the roots).
Let it set for a few minutes, unwrap, and brush through the curls. If hair looks too curly use the round brush again and soften with the blow dryer.
Tease the top where you want the volume to stay and overlap certain sections to give a looser feel to the overall look.
Spray for Shine and Meta Luxe Hair Spray to secure.

The one style we constantly try to emulate but is difficult without a little seawater and sea breeze also happens to be one of Jennifer Aniston's signatures, beach hair. With the right styling products and tools, this vacation inspired hair trend isn't so complicated. One of Hollywood's leading hairstylists, Serge Normant, has broken the process down into five easy steps to achieve celebrity worthy beachiness…
Step 1. Pre air dry your hair in order to keep as much of your natural wave as possible.
Step 2. Apply Serge Normant's Spray Meta Lush Volumizer from root to tips to give flexibility and elasticity for the stye you're about to create.
Step 3. Create a middle part and smooth out the top layer to reduce unnecessary frizz.
Step 4. Use a little Serge Normant Meta Form Sculpting Pomade to give hair some texture before using a one inch curling iron or smaller to create your curls. Beachy curls aren't perfect so in order to have an 'undone' curl, I always recommend to leave the ends straight to give a more natural touch. In other words, don't wrap the entire strand around the barrel, but leave a 1-2 inch 'tail' hanging.
5. Flip your head over and scrunch up with your hands to loosen a little bit more. Then finally top it off with a little Serge Normant Meta Sheer Dry Oil Finishing Spray.
If you don't have a St Barth's or Miami trip planned anytime soon there's no need to worry, brush on your favorite bronzer and coral lipstick and rock your beach hair like a jetsetter!Read More »

Getting straight hair is never as simple as just running a straight iron through it. Sometimes the straighter the hair, the more obvious those dreaded frizzes appear to be. It's worth your time to take a few extra steps so you can look like you just walked out of the latest hair commercial. In slow-mo and everything. Celebrity hairdresser to the stars Serge Normant has shared some of his tricks over the last few weeks and now he's breaking down the steps to get smooth & straight locks resembling the model below.
Step 1. Spray Meta Lush Volumizer from root to tip through damp hair.
Step 2: Create a defined side part.
Step 3: Blow dry with a middle size round brush giving a good band to the ends.
Step 4: Using a 1 inch barrel curling iron, curl the bottom half of the hair but be mindful to use larger sections of hair as not to over curl.
Step 5: Brush till you see the shape you want.

Every fashion week season T3 Micro is there attending to the manes of some of America's top designer fashion shows. Their hair care tools are so well respected in the industry for their amazing styling capabilities as well as the fact that they try to put the hair through as little damage as possible. Never before has hair drying, straightening, or curling been so quick and efficient.
In saying that we fell in love with the style T3 created for Derek Lam's Fall/Winter 2013 fashion show. The theme was 'Bohemian Minimalism,' which was created using the Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer and Single Pass Straightening Iron. To create this loose, soft wave a very interesting technique was used by hairstylist Orlando Pita. He braided the models' hair in 8-10 small braids then pressed them with the iron to create natural wavy texture. Watch this wonderful video tutorial showing you how to create it step by step!

Sleek hair is all the rage this season, and from what we saw at Fashion Week for fall/winter, this trend is not going away. One of our favorite sleek looks, that has withstood the test of time, is a pony tail.
We love a pretty pony because it's work-appropriate, great for all textures - including fine hair - and a great way to get a second day out of your already-styled hair. Ready to rock this runway-ready revolution? Here are step-by-step instructions for this easy up-do, and the products that will get you there.
1. Prep Your Mane
You perfected your hair for work yesterday, but 24 hours later it's looking a little … sad. Use Mason Pearson's Handy Mixture Bristle & Nylon Brush to detangle and soften your locks, in preparation for your pony.
2. Tame Your Tail
Run T3's Single Pass 1" Flat Iron over your ends and address any noticeable kinks in your 'do. Don't spend too much time on this step, as the majority of your locks will be gathered and unseen. One minute tops!
3. Smooth Your Strands
Add a couple drops of Mixed Chicks Hair Silk from root to tip. This light reflecting serum not only tames fly-aways, it also gives you the added shine and vibrancy this sleek look requires.
4. Repair Your Hair
One of the things we love about a sleek pony is that is allows you to throw on a treatment or leave-in conditioner to repair hair while it's up. We recommend klorane's Leave-In with Mango Butter. It prevents further breakage and repairs without weighing hair down. Concentrate this product at the ends of your hair to keep the 'tail' of your pony streamlined.
4. Flipping Out
Flip hair upside down, brushing repeatedly from root to tip toward the floor. Make a fist, and place it against the top of your head, this is where your pony will 'sprout' from.
5. Gather the Herd
Open your fist and begin brushing your hair into it, collecting it for the hair tie. Depending on hair length, you may have to move your fist towards the nape of your neck, in order to collect all your stands in the tie.
6. Rein It In
Using the hair tie of your choice, secure your now-collected hair. You may choose to leave the tie as-is, or you can create a more polished look by wrapping a thin segment of hair from your tail around the tie and securing it with a bobby pin towards the underside of your ponytail.
7. Polish the Pony
Now that your pony is in place, you'll want to tame baby hairs and frizz. Use GLOSS Moderne High-Gloss Serum along the hairline and sides to perfect your sleek look, enhance shine and tame fly-aways.
8. Solidify Your Style
Finish off this look with a pass of your favorite hairspray. We recommend Serge Normant Meta Luxe Hairspray to ensure hold and protect hair against damaging and dulling UV rays.
