New at b-glowing! Shaveworks The Cool Fix Rollerball by Anthony Logistics is the perfect companion for lip and brow waxing. Now available in a convenient roll-on dispenser, The Cool Fix Rollerball fits easily in your purse for your next salon appointment.
We love how the cooling and soothing gel feels on the skin post-strip rip. Not only does The Cool Fix Rollerball calm redness and irritation - reducing those telling pink patches above the lip and brow - it also helps to prevent breakouts and ingrown hairs during hair regrowth.
For larger areas like underarms, legs, and the bikini area, try The Cool Fix in the 5.3 oz bottle for shaving and waxing relief!

A lot of products slip under the radar in the beauty industry, which is why we are launching our new 'Hidden Gems' segment here at the b-glowing.com Magazine. We are excited to recognize our staff favorites, and give them the attention they deserve!

This week's hidden gem is RGB Cosmetics Nail Color Remover Pads. This soy-based product gently removes your nail polish without the use of acetone or acetate - some of the most toxic chemicals in the cosmetic industry. The pre-moistened pads are non-hazardous, almost odorless, and leave nails looking nourished and healthy.
Why We're Pushing These Pads:
"I love the RGB Cosmetics Nail Color Remover Pads because they work, and are travel-friendly. I have them at my desk, in my purse, in my car, and in my bathroom. One pad takes care of all 10 nails, and leaves them looking shiny too. One quick tip: Make sure to wash your hands between using these pads and applying new nail lacquer, the oil-based formula can make polish application difficult if left on the nail." - b-glowing.com Social Media Administrator, Holly

You may have come across terms like 3-Free, 4-Free, or 5-Free in the past when shopping for nail polish. But what does that mean? b-glowing.com is here to give you the 411 on what your lacquer is leaving out!
3-Free: When you see 3-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), or Formaldehyde.
4-Free: When you see 5-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, or Camphor.
5-Free: When you see 5-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor.
What are these ingredients? Why are they used in the first place?
Toluene: Helps polish go on smoothly. Also found in gasoline, rubber cement, and shoe polish. Inhaling products containing toluene causes light-headedness, nausea and even unconsciousness and sometimes death. It's also linked to developmental damage for pregnant women.
Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP): Prevents your polish from chipping and cracking. Also found in adhesives, printing ink, and plastics. It's been designated a reproductive and developmental toxin.
Formaldehyde: Makes polish tough and resistant. Most commonly found in nail strengtheners, not polish. It's also directly linked to nasal sinus cancer and the development of leukemia.
Formaldehyde Resin: A less toxic version of formaldehyde, this ingredient is still considered a skin allergen that can cause dermatitis.
Camphor: Helps polish adhere to your nails. Also used as a moth repellent, used in the embalming process, and found in fireworks. While it is less hazardous than the "Toxic 3", it does cause skin irritation and is poisonous when ingested in large doses. Nail biters beware!
b-glowing.com is proud to carry a wide range of 3-Free, 4-Free, and 5-Free nail polish brands that we love. You will easily find bright, bold, beautiful colors that are long-lasting and SAFE! Here is a list, start shopping now!
