Notes From Paris - Fragrance Flight VOL. 3

Our latest Fragrance Flight theme will transport you to the charming and chic streets of Paris. The 'City of Lights' is the inspiration for our Fragrance Flight VOL. 3, containing six .05 oz sizes that celebrate the perfume heritage of Paris and the trails of scent that courses through its cobblestone veins. From the scent of coffee beans wafting through a cafe, the intoxicating allure of vanilla on the neck scarf of a finely dressed French woman, to the warm and buttery croissants from a streetcar vendor - Paris is an aromatic journey waiting to be explored!

This season our curator was Ineke Ruhland, an amazing San Francisco based perfumer and creator of Ineke who spent time honing her craft in Grasse, the Provencal city that spawned perfumery in France. She selected the particular scents below for their ability to be layered and capture the essence of Paris.

Juliette Has A Gun Vengeance Extreme – Vengeance can be dangerous and this seductive fragrance of Patchouli, Bulgarian Rose, and Vanilla is not to be left in innocent hands.

L’Aromarine Vanille – There’s something nostalgic about vanilla and this warm fragrance is just as sweet as the bottle’s circa 1920’s Paris design.

Etat Libre d’Orange Archives 69 - Fragrance has no rules or regulations and this scent is the epitome of sensual liberation with notes of Tangerine, Orchid, and Benzoin.

Ineke Field Notes From Paris – The ambience and warm aromas of a Parisian café, tobacco flower and tonka bean alike are the inspiration behind this fragrance loved by both women and men.

Montale Velvet Flowers – Floral harmonies of Peach Blossom, Ylang Ylang, and Jasmine transport us on an intoxicating journey to far exotic lands.

Tokyo Milk French Kiss – Decorated with an image of one of the world’s most romantic monuments, this is a fragrant homage to the sweetness of Paris with notes of mandarin, tuberose and vetiver.

Models appear to have glamorous, jet-setting lifestyles as they fly from one Fashion Week to the next but little do we know how traumatic this is on their skin. Makeup artists witness dry patches, redness and faces covered in pimples on a constant basis. I'd love to get a few professional laser treatments done. The idea of going in and having some pimple scars zapped to oblivion in a few treatments sounds very enticing, let alone expensive. The minute you begin paying someone for their time and a six digit specialty machine I don't think you're going to come out of there with to much cash flow to spare.

That's what's so great about skincare leader Peter Thomas Roth. He creates at-home, affordable solutions to our most frustrating skincare concerns - fine lines, sun spots, rough textured skin, acne scars and more! Case in point, the new Laser-Free Kit.
