The staff at b-glowing.com all have our favorites spanning makeup, haircare, fragrance and more which is why we combined them all in our staff picks page! There's something about a staff pick that perks my attention just like when I'm at the video store and looking for suggestions. In beauty, many times we find new products through word of mouth so it was great to see that the Kitty Blusher Stick from Paul & Joe Cosmetics Spring 2012 Meow Collection made the staff picks in People magazines Style Watch! Beauty assistant Maddy Zollo loved the Paul & Joe Blush Stick because, "this cute cat-inspired blush adds some fun to your beauty routine." For only $28 this blush stick has a carved out cat-in-the-hat while the other side is smooth. Simply draw three lines with the smooth side across your cheek like a cat scratch and then blend! The Limited Edition Kitty
Blusher Stick comes in three shades: Glamour Puss 001 (pearlescent beige), Minou 002 (soft pink) and Catfight 003 (tangerine).

Simplistic Beauty at 2012 People's Choice Awards » -

I'm a bit of a Hollywood award season junkie so of course I had to tune into the People's Choice Awards last night. It's always nice to see actors get honored by their fans, but what I love to check out are the fashion and beauty trends. A few actressses stepped out with a bold fuschia or red lip, but for the most part the continual theme that played over and over was minimalist beauty. The People's Choice Awards is always a bit more relaxed than say the Oscars or Golden Globes, however "Young Hollywood" appeared gorgeous in that just-rolled-out-of-bed-ready-to-go look that we always try so hard to recreate. Who knew looking like you didn't even try could take some effort? To be honest, if you're prepping with the right tools and using the right products you could have your own "People's Choice" look in a short amount of time. In saying that, here are my top 5 picks to recreate last nights ongoing look:

Sexy bed head and tousled hair can be achieved by using a great texturizer product. To get Kristin Bell's minimalist tousled hair try using a product like Frederic Fekkai's Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel. Apply to damp hair at the roots for extra lift and all throughout to create texture. Try blow drying your hair with a diffuser head on your blow dryer. By using a diffuser it allows you to retain any natural curl or wave your hair may have. Simply flip your head over and start the drying process. If you'd like to invest in a award winning blow dryer that comes with a diffuser than check out the Featherweight Luxe.

«Paul & Joe Cosmetics Spring 2012 Meow Collection in O Magzine! -

We're all experiencing rabid beauty madness over the impending arrival of the much anticipated Spring 2012 Meow Collection by Paul & Joe Cosmetics. I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peak at this kitti-rific range in New York last year and I can tell you there is some seriously cute makeup. In fact, the Paul & Joe Face and Eye Color Palette was just featured in the February edition of O, The Oprah Magazine! It's shown below in Kittycat, Purr-fect and Siamese Please. If you're a "cat" lady or just love and appreciate adorable packaging then this Meow Collection is well worth taking a peak at.

It's available for pre-order right now on b-glowing.com, however won't be shipped until February 1. I have a feeling these products won't last long so make sure you're one of the lucky ones! The Face and Eye Color Palette is in the shape of a cat and comes with three different colors per palette: A lighter shade for base, darker for contouring and then a highlighter on the cat's belly. So cute! If you take an extra peak you'll see that the cat's eyes are closed because when you rub a kitty's belly their eyes close with happiness! The Kitty Blusher Stick is my other favorite because one side has a carved out "cat in the hat" and the other is a smooth side. You gently apply three lines across your cheeks like a cat claw and then rub them together for the perfect blush application.
