We're celebrating Independence Day week by recognizing some of our favorite products made in the Land of the Stars and Stripes.
ARCONA Magic White Ice: Part of ARCONA's signature Basic Five routine, Magic White Ice is a daily hydrating moisturizer that works to balance the skin as well as clarify the complexion. We love how the gel consistency leaves a dewy finish that feels light and refreshing. For dryer skin, try Magic Dry Ice.
PRTTY PEAUSHUN: Created by makeup artist Bethany Karlyn, PRTTY PEAUSHUN is an all-over body perfecter that uses light-reflecting pigments to even out skin tone, enhance muscle tone, and give the skin a radiant glow. This is a celebrity favorite, and a b-glowing staff must-have for short weather!
Jack Black All Day Oil-Contol Lotion: A Men's Health Award winner, this product absorbs oil throughout the day, keeping the skin shine-free. The lightweight formula gives you a matte look from AM to PM, and works to minimize the appearance of pores. This multipurpose skincare is a great gift for the guy-on-the-go, providing protection from the elements, keeping his skin clear, and oil under control.
rms beauty Cream Eyeshadow: Great for all ages, these nourishing cream shadows moisturize the eye, minimizing the appearance of lines. The sheer pigments are easy to apply, and instantly create an illuminating effect that brightens the eye, and creates a natural contour. These shadows look amazing all on their own, and look best when applied to the lid and crease using your fingertip.
These top picks aren't the only products waving Old Glory, all of these featured brands make 100% of their products in the U.S. of A.

You may have come across terms like 3-Free, 4-Free, or 5-Free in the past when shopping for nail polish. But what does that mean? b-glowing.com is here to give you the 411 on what your lacquer is leaving out!
3-Free: When you see 3-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), or Formaldehyde.
4-Free: When you see 5-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, or Camphor.
5-Free: When you see 5-Free on a nail polish, it means it is made without the use of: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor.
What are these ingredients? Why are they used in the first place?
Toluene: Helps polish go on smoothly. Also found in gasoline, rubber cement, and shoe polish. Inhaling products containing toluene causes light-headedness, nausea and even unconsciousness and sometimes death. It's also linked to developmental damage for pregnant women.
Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP): Prevents your polish from chipping and cracking. Also found in adhesives, printing ink, and plastics. It's been designated a reproductive and developmental toxin.
Formaldehyde: Makes polish tough and resistant. Most commonly found in nail strengtheners, not polish. It's also directly linked to nasal sinus cancer and the development of leukemia.
Formaldehyde Resin: A less toxic version of formaldehyde, this ingredient is still considered a skin allergen that can cause dermatitis.
Camphor: Helps polish adhere to your nails. Also used as a moth repellent, used in the embalming process, and found in fireworks. While it is less hazardous than the "Toxic 3", it does cause skin irritation and is poisonous when ingested in large doses. Nail biters beware!
b-glowing.com is proud to carry a wide range of 3-Free, 4-Free, and 5-Free nail polish brands that we love. You will easily find bright, bold, beautiful colors that are long-lasting and SAFE! Here is a list, start shopping now!
