Shop Erno Laszlo skincare here!
I have never been more excited than when I flipped through the November 2012 issue of Vogue magazine and came across an article about the re-opening of the Erno Laszlo Skin Institute in New York City. For those who aren't familiar with the man behind the brand I have to fill you in on this wonderful story. Dr. Erno Laszlo was known as one of the first celebrity dermatologists and his talent was proven by his silver screen clientele which included Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly and more. The original location those many years ago was like that of a secret society with new members only being allowed 'in to the club' if they received a recommendation by two already initiated friends! Membership also entailed a level of discretion and privacy for yourself and fellow members as it was prohibited to say who was there.
Erno Laszlo's custom made formulations for his celebrity clients are the basis for The Hollywood Collection, five re-formulated products to adress the skincare needs of the modern woman. The Erno Laszlo Institute when opened will boast six beautiful treatment rooms laid out in an octagon, red leather staircase and floor to ceiling Swarovski crystal chandelier. Classic staples like the Sea Mud Cleansing Bar and Shake-It Tinted Treatment along with a new cream version of Phormula 3-9 are on display along a 26 ft marble table making skincare never look so luxe!
If you ever happen to be in NYC a treatment at the Erno Laszlo Institute is a must. With a Hollywood story like this brand has your skin is in the finest of hands and attentive eyes during an enzyme peel, light therapy or whatever treatment your skin is needing. I'd just be wondering what celeb was in the room next to me!
Gorgeous model Erin Wasson who embodies the boho-chic, 'natural' hippie lifestyle was recently featured in a candid interview on intothegloss.com sharing her views on fashion as well as low key approach to beauty. A 'no sparkle' girl, Erin is very low maintenance with makeup. In fact, the only thing she'll wear is RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up natural foundation because its virtually undetectable and melts into the skin. Wear it as a concealer or foundation to cover T-zones and redness. As you can see in the vanity pictures she is also a big fan of Rodin olio lusso products and seems to have gotten the memo from the rest of the fashion industry where the Rodin word is spreading like hotcakes. She's a big fan of the Rodin Crema and Olio Lusso Body Oil.
