"b-glowing has grown out of my life-long passion for beauty products. I spent my youth digging through my mom’s makeup drawers when she wasn’t looking. When I was 13 my big dream was to be the makeup counter girl at our local Walgreen’s. I confirmed my addiction to product when at 24 years old, after the breakup of a boyfriend of 5 years, I went to Saks Fifth Avenue and charged an obscene amout of money in the beauty department. It was an obscene amount to me as I was only making entry-level salary at the time. Truth be told, I have no regrets. It was money well spent as I spent countless months in beauty junkie heaven sampling those wonderful products!
After a successful career in TV Advertising I felt compelled to follow my personal passion for fashion/beauty and to see where it would take me. 
I always knew that someday I would eventually share my love for great product with more than just my girlfriends. I wanted to create a place that would allow me to share that passion with a wide range of dynamic and gorgeous women! The result: b-glowing. The name comes from the call-to-action of “being”. “Be the best you can be”, “be you”, “be truthful”, “just be!”. And the word "Glowing" from reflecting the radiance we all deserve to have inside and out!
How do we decide which brands to carry at b-glowing? Our focus is on independently owned brands. We believe there is an honest passion behind these brands which reaches out to the consumer. The only time we make an exception is with hard-to-find imports. By their nature, these hard-to-find brands make them irresistible for us beauty-philes. Also, those same brands often have a very independent spirit that represents the same philosophy of b-glowing.
We hope you find the finely edited products we've selected from all over the world will bring you as much pleasure as they have brought my staff and I. So have fun browsing, send us questions, send us comments and enjoy the pleasure of receiving gorgeous products luxuriously wrapped with Scarlet Red tissue paper and placed in our signature Red Organza pouch from b-glowing!"
