To do a complete, at home, manicure you would follow these steps:
-brush on Melt Away, push cuticles back, wash hands
-Nail Foundation (base coat) or Horsepower (for weak or damaged nails)
-Hardwear (top coat)
-finish with Handbag Holiday around cuticle bed and it will "bleed" onto the nail for a quick dry finish.

love the colors, but unfortunately they don't stay on long enough-chip w/in a day or two of manicure, even w/several top coats.
I've owned this polish for over a year so I don't know why it's being promoted as a new holiday color. It gets dull quickly. and it's very streaky and hard to apply without showing clear brush strokes. Only reason I'm not giving it a 1 is I like it under deborah lippmann's new color "candy shop"
