How do you stand out on New Year's Eve—a night filled with sparkly cocktail dresses and sequins? It's time to go rogue. Step out of your comfort zone and into the spotlight with our party-perfect look: bold, dark, shimmery shadow, nude lips, a sparkly french mani and sleek, shiny hair.
To create the perfect base, apply eyeshadow primer all over the eyelid, making sure to cover the entire eye socket. Elongate the shape of the eye, following the length of your brow to create a circular effect. Be sure to bring the base coat directly underneath the lash line and slightly above the brow as well.
Lightly dust stila's powder eyeshadow from the Eyes Are The Window—Body Palette over the shadow base. Start with minimal product and layer it slowly, using a small shadow brush for precision. Brush the shadow into and slightly above the brows. Continue to add more color to build the shape of the eyes.
Next, add dimension and shimmer with stila's Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow in Comex Platinum. Lightly blend over the eyelid, avoiding the crease. Lastly, dab some shadow into the inner corners of the eyes and along the lash line.
Finish with Kevyn Aucoin's The Starlet lashes.
Begin by painting your nails with MAXUS NAILS Base Coat—a very important step when using glitter polish! Once dry, paint the entire nail with a white polish, we used Paul & Joe Nail Enamel in Cloud White. Wait 2-3 minutes, then mark off your tips with tape or blocking liquid (a hair-extension glue will do)—as if you were creating an upside down smiley or a sad face. With Nail Color by Deborah Lippmann in Across the Universe, paint the remainder of your nail—everything but the tips! Carefully peel the Liquid Palisade away while polish is still wet. Once everything is dry, apply the MAXUS NAILS Top Coat.
Don’t get stuck in the shadows this New Year's Eve! Make your outfit stand out by pairing eye-catching gold accessories with bold blue hues. The effect is an ultra-luxe, memorable look.
