On Sunday, June 28th Erno Laszlo New York participated in New York City’s Pride Parade. Heritage of Pride hosts New York City’s Pride events in commemoration of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the beginning of the modern Gay Rights movement. This year, over 20,000 marchers, 2 million spectators and 80 brands and floats—including Google, Facebook, Yahoo—came out to celebrate the LGBQT communities.
We support brands that celebrate marriage equality and support any and all communities expressing their authentic selves.
The iconic Erno Laszlo participated in the parade, and there was no better way to celebrate their own heritage than with a collection of gorgeous Marilyn dragqueens werking the float to DJ Veena's mix of progressive and electro house music. At the helm was CEO Rochelle and her wife Jess, along with their favorite Marilyn, the one and only Peppermint (who you may recognize from a 2011 parody that went viral of the Lady Gaga and Beyoncé song "Telephone.")
In 1939, Hungarian born Dr. Erno Laszlo set up his Ern? László Institute in a building at 677 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. There, he treated celebrities including Edie Sedgwick, Jackie O and Marilyn. Dr. Erno Laszlo treated Marilyn's skin throughout her career, even going to the lengths of creating a custom made product, Phormula 3-9, to fade a scar on her stomach. Filled with tamaru and marine collagen extract, this intensive nourishing balm reduces redness, puffiness and smoothes away wounds and burns.
At the parade, the Erno Laszlo team handed out the iconic, original cleansing bar known world-wide to refine the complexion and remove dead skin cells for more radiant skin.
